Making more money is the desire of most people, and guess what... many people are doing just that through multi level marketing and network marketing.
There's a perception that these methods of making money are easy, and does not take a lot of effort. Because of this the vast majority of opportunity seekers try to get into these programs, and sometimes gets taken for a ride.
Now most people have this perception that mlm and network marketing are illegal pyramid schemes. Although there are many of these illegal programs around, for the most part there are a lot of legitimate ones that are churning out many success stories daily.
Like anything in life it is very important for the individual to do some research before getting involved with a program to see whether it's right for you or not.
Information about legitimate and approved companies can be had through the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). They also offer advice on how to differentiate between legitimate companies and illegal ones.
Before you spend your money to join a program make sure you check to see if that program is legal, and if there is any red flag alert about their operations. Better to be safe than sorry.
Most mlm or network marketing companies require you to be on a monthly auto-ship program. This is what is used to pay distributors fast start bonuses and monthly commissions.
For members to make money they have to build a team of distributors. While this can be difficult for the new person who has no knowledge of the industry, good companies provides proper training and support to help the new person.
Some of the requirements that you as an individual will need to succeed in these programs is:
<=> Be a self-starter. Momentum is very important in every business; however, your first 90 days will be the deciding factor in whether you succeed or not.
<=> Be self motivated. There will be down times and for your business to keep growing you will need to be working it consistently, at least for the first year.
<=> You will have to become a people person. While internet marketers can build their business without talking to people on the phone, the strength of mlm and network marketing is phone power.
<=> To make significant income members have to build downlines of hundreds and sometimes thousands. This is because monthly earnings from individual auto-ships can be as little as $5, so it would take a thousand orders to make $5000 per month.
<=> Be a student of the industry. Knowledge is power and your success depends on your ability to learn and apply proven strategies. As Jim Rohn says, study, practice and teach is the foundation of success.
Multi-level marketing and network marketing can be a strong leveraging income source. This means that you do the work now and you can keep getting paid for a lifetime.
If you have leadership aspirations, enjoy meetings/conventions and being in the limelight, coupled with good people skills and is not afraid of hard work, then a mlm or network marketing opportunity might be just what you're looking for.
