Your first and most important order of business before you get started is to write a business plan. You MUST know where you're going, when you're going to get there, what tools you will need, your budget, your time constraints, etc.
I'm sure you would never build a house without a detailed blueprint, right? So why are you trying to build an internet home business to make money to support you and your family, without having a detailed step-by-step blueprint to guide you?
Look, your initial plan doesn't have to be complicated, but it has to be done.
Spending some time to do some research and write your ideas on paper will allow something magical to happen. Having a road-map to guide you is VITAL to your success. There is NO way to get around this... and guess what, you will be surprised to see how things start falling into place.
There are hundreds and thousands of people trying to start a home business online daily... and while it is a good thing to own your own business, statistics show that more than 95% of them make very little or no money at all. This one thing is responsible for many of the dismal failures faced by so many.
Starting an internet marketing home business to make money is just like a traditional business. It is a business, and unless you approach and treat it like a business it will never work.
Think of the detailed business plans that the big corporations put in place before they start their business. Do you think they could succeed without a plan? How would they operate from day to day without specific guidelines?
Now, think about your internet marketing home business that you've just started with the intent of making money. Think of it as a million dollar business! Do you think you can start a business to make a million dollars without having a business plan detailing the action steps that you need to take daily? DON'T think so!
