3. What keywords will you be targeting in your ad campaigns? This is a critical step when getting started with your internet marketing home business. You will need to do some market research to find the right keywords for your niche. These are the keywords that you will be using in your ad campaigns, on your website, your blogs, etc.
Example: Key phrases like "how to potty-train an Australian Terrier" are much more effective than "dog training".
4. How will you set up your sales funnel? Here you will have to decide if you're going to drive visitors straight to the merchant's sales page, or you'll be setting up a landing/capture page with an autoresponder follow-up sequence (highly recommended).
5. Will you be using autoresponder, website, blog, software, tools etc? While many affiliate marketers send visitors straight to the merchant's website and make money from it, this is not the wisest thing to do.
To make a consistent ongoing income from your internet marketing home business you MUST have a subscriber list, and the only way to accomplish that is to have a system in place to collect your visitors information. This way you will be able to followup with them through your autoresponder with good content and offers.

Grab your pen and paper and start writing. Don't worry about the details at first, just write down all the ideas that comes to mind. Later on you can organize them into different categories, break them down into smaller steps, and set a time frame for implementation.
